41 Madison overlooks Madison Square Park, originally designed in 1974 by Emery Roth and Sons.  The building, owned and operated by Rudin Management is know as the Merchandise Mart. In 2018 an extensive renovation, under the direction of Skidmore, Owenings and Merrill (SOM) the building lobby now features a 3000 square feet custom built ceiling.  Each grid features custom built LED boards to ensure a smooth lighting distribution.  Elevecture also participated in the elevator renovation where elevator cabs feature 2mm AG Gorilla Glass ® with #8 stainless steel wall panels.
